Lincolnshire’s county bowlers make it to national finals in Leamington Spa

An outstanding performance from Lincolnshire’s White Rose under 24 team saw Lincolnshire A top their group in the county competition with a maximum 24 points and with a session to spare.

They secured victory with a 6-0 win over Leicestershire B to reach the Leamington National Finals.

The match was played at East Leake in Nottinghamshire.

Also making it through to Leamington National Finals are the county men’s U24 pairs winners Owen Aspinall (Blackstones) and Nathan Puttrell (Castle), who played at Blackstones in Stamford.

The pair secured their place by beating brothers Kylo and Taylor Cranidge (Blossoms Way) in the semi finals, followed by victory over Max Butters (Castle) and George Hammond (Spalding Town) in the final.

* In the Sutton Bridge Banks Rose Bowl League Newton are top of the table after a 6-0 (77-35) win over Sutton Bridge.

Gorefield beat Black Cats 5-1 (40-28), while March Town got the better of Parson Drove 5.5-0.5 (35-56).
