An employee has taken on a 15k inflatable course as just one of a Spalding restaurant’s many fundriasing efforts during June.
The Petalo Lounge at Springfields is raising money for the Three Counties Dog Rescue during LoungeAid this month.
Efforts include weekly quiz nights on a Wednesday, bingo nights on a Sunday as well as holding a Craft Night.
Assistant manager Jayne Sutton (pictured) decided to go the extra miles by doing the Inflatable 5K.
She ‘smashed’ the challenge doing the course three times.
Matt West, general manager of the Petalo Lounge said: “LoungeAid is really important to us as it gives us the chance to give back to the community that supports us all year round.
“This year, we’ve chosen Three Counties Dog Rescue because our team loves our four-legged friends, and several of us have rescued dogs through them over the years.
“We’ve seen first-hand the fantastic work they do, providing care and finding loving homes for dogs in need, and we’re proud to be supporting them throughout June.”
