Golfers have helped a 94 year old add to his fundraising tally..
Terry Grantham has been raising money for St Barnabas Hospice for three decades due to the support it has given his family.
It’s included holding an annual golf day at Gedney Hill.
And this year’s event held on May 16 was once again a success raising £1,840 thanks to the 28 golfers.
“I’m quite chuffed at the amount raised from what is the 17th such event,” he said. “A huge thank you goes to all of the players, those who helped out and the sponsors including Hills Furnishings, Smart Cabs, Lynas Vokes, Lincolnshire Co-Op and Heroes Gym.
“People say they want me to organise it again and I’ll optimistically say I’ll be there.”
Ian Munns was the clear winning on the day while Pam Chapman took the honours for the ladies.
