Medal haul for students

On February 22, students from Whaplode travelled to Hertfordshire to compete at the UK ITF national tae kwon do championships.

Twelve students aged between eight and 55 faced off against athletes from all over the UK.

The club performed superbly with humility and grace.

Students were confident and composed giving 100 per cent in every event they entered.

The club returned home with six golds, nine silvers and five bronzes.

It is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of the club.
