With Pyramid C without a game this week, Pyramid F moved level on points with them at the top of the Spalding and District Snooker League by beating Consti G.
Ian Clare (scr) picked up two wins, Carl Gibson (028) and Oliver Player (o28) two more as they enjoyed a 5-1 win.
Consti H are just two points further back as they beat Pyramid D 4-2.
Doug Barfoot’s (o28) win on the black over Regan Cooke-Holmes (021) set them on their way and Seb Grimston (o28) beat Jason Green (o61) to make it 2-0.
Pyramid hit back through ins from James Sharpe (o49) and Joshua Agger (o28) to set up a decider.
In that Adam Mayman (o78) won 79-63over Peter Sharpe Grose (r7) to earn Consti the win.
Fourth placed Boundary A are also only three points off top spot after a tight win over bottom of the table Holbeach C.
Paul Ashton (r14) beat Pete King (scr) 63-38 to give Holbeach the lead but wins for Daniel Smith (035) and Elliott Cox (r7) put Boundary ahead.
Nick Edwards (r14) then beat Tim Burrows (o7) 61-45 to set up a decider.
Steve Smith (r21) stepped up for Boundary beating Mark Gregory (o35) 80-45 to seal the win.
Donington C beat Services A 4-2 with wins from Mick Pearl (014), Shaun Pickering (r7) and Mat Turner (028) 71-35 in the decider over Chris Dunmore (042).
Second from bottom Services D also put up a good showing but lost 4-2 to Holbeach D.
Joely Shears (r7) gave Services a good start beating Denis Hix (R7) 58-29 while Andy Spearman (o7) hit back for Holbeach beating Richard Neal (r21) 75-34.
The next match between Paul Daw (028) and Alan Day (r21) proved crucial as it game down the black, Daw taking the win 67-68.
Adi Liquorish (r7) then sealed the win for Holbeach before a Russ Morse (scr) win made it 4-2 overall.
Gosberton A beat Services B 5-1 with wins from Paul Wright (o7), Jamie Mumby (o28), Adam Twigg (07) and Alan Jackson (scr) while Kevin Fitter (o7) won for Services.
Holbeach B have opened up a seven point gap at the top of Division Two.
They beat Whittlesey A 5-1 with wins from Garry Cooke (021), Barry Haynes (o21), Pete Mullane (o21) and Neil Harvey (o21). Jason Clarke (scr) earned Whittlesey’s win.
Second placed Pyramid A last 5-2 to Holbeach F which saw three of the five games decided on the black.
Dan Mayfield (021) had already beaten Jim Benner (scr) 66-23 before the three close games in a row.
Firstly Holbeach’s James Quinton (o14) edged past Michael Twell (o7) 55-50, then Pyramid responded with Norman Vaughan (o21) beating David Lefley (r28) 86-74,
Quinton returned to edge an even closer game 46-45 against John Twell (o7) and seal Holbeach’s win.
There were two wins on the black for Gosberton D for Dan Hayter (scr) and Paolo Genserskyy (scr) but they lost 4-2 to Pyramid E who enjoyed wins from Steve Thompson (r14), Peter Jackson (scr) and John Clapton (r14).
A Mark Woodberry (056) 111 was the highlight as Holbeach A beat Pyramid B with wins also from Steve Dent (scr) and Stuart Atkin (049). Dennis Parsons (o7) and Roy Jackson (r14) picked up wins for Pyramid B.
At the bottom Donington A and Whittlesey C are both locked on 37 points after both lost.
Services B lost 4-2 at home to Donington A who found themselves behind until wins from (Glenn Ryan (o21), Tony Scully (80) and Michael Garfoot (r14) winning a thrilling decider on the black 58-57 over Kev Emerson (r14). Jason Rose (o28) and Paul Doades (scr) had put Services in front.
Consti F were 5-1 victors at Whittlesey C.
Division Three leaders Holbeach G were beaten 4-2 by Consti A.
Louis Steadman (r14) gave third placed Consti a lead with a 74-59 win over Stuart Sullivan (028) but John Sawson (021) beat Wayne Wilding (014) on the black to level matters.
Holbeach’s Matt Tomblin (o7) then put together a 25 break against Nigel Steadman (scr) but it was the Consti player who potted the black to put his side 2-1 up before Martyn Johnson (r14) beat Davie Willy (o35) 83-56 to give them the win.
