A host of donations have helped provide new play equipment in Quadring.
The third stage of improvements to St Margaret’s Playing Field has been completed, the village’s parish council say.
This work has consisted of replacement fencing, new equipment in the adventure trail consisting of a zig zag stepper, monkey bars, clustered stilts, Burma bridge, wobble board and a new combo unit as well as a replacement bin.
Parish councillor Andrew Jackson said: “In two years the parish council is proud to have delivered three improvement stages on this park, bringing new items in to the area as well as improving what was already there.
“Thanks go to ID Mercer Services for the work on the fence and Playdale Playgrounds which installed the equipment.
“Thanks also need to be sent out to people who have donated to Quadring Parish Council for this project, including Quadring Village Shop, Bates Environmental, Clare Cares, JB Robinson and Son and those who held a village yard sale with pitch fees going towards this project.
“Special thanks also needs to be sent out to Lincolnshire Community Foundation – from their own funds as well as councillors Henry Bingham, Jane King and Margaret Geaney who donated from their district councillor budget.
“Over 65 per cent of this project was funded by these grants and donations with parish funds making up the remaining money.”
