LETTERS – Appalled by doctor’s failure

I am absolutely appalled by the treatment the NHS/ Government and one local doctors’ surgery are giving our respected senior citizens/individuals with special needs and those without any internet connection.

My uncle was declined his right to make a doctor’s appointment face to face or even by telephone and must do it online.

He’s 83-years-old, has a basic mobile phone and no other means to connect to the doctors, they offered to send him a link, ‘what’s a link?’ he asked!

My uncle would not ask me or anyone else with an internet connection to try to make an appointment for a personal matter, he would be to embarrassed.

Beechfield will be withholding medical care for those who fail to meet imposed restrictions on arranging an appointment, is that fair?
