LETTERS – Please consider pedestrians

This is an open letter to all the drivers who jump the red light queue of stationary traffic, waiting to turn into St Thomas’s Road from Winsover Road.

Whilst you may think it’s acceptable, please note that pedestrians cross at that junction. I have seen where pedestrians are halfway across that junction and then been confronted by a car turning into them. This also causes buses problems when they turn into Winsover Road.

Is it too much to ask for some consideration and think of others, especially pedestrians?
