A teenager who puts his community and others first is the first to be nominated for a Pride of South Holland Young Achiever Award.
Jordan Howlett has been put forward by Darren Maddison of Spalding’s Polka Dot Academy, for the years he has dedicated to the group.
Darren praised Jordan’s ambition and determination and said: “Jordan is an accomplished actor, singer and dancer and always approaches each role he is given with maturity and enthusiasm.
“He always turns up to every rehearsal fully prepared and is able to help other members of the cast when necessary.
“I believe that it is always worthwhile to recognise the achievements of individuals who have struggled in life or had a disadvantaged upbringing, but it is also equally important to recognise individuals who have always put their community and others first, excelling in their chosen field and continuing to be a great ambassador for the local community – Jordan is an example of this and I wish him every success for the future.”
We are still looking for more entrants in the Pride of South Holland Awards Young Achiever category, sponsored by EMG.
If you know a young person, aged 18 or under, who is a role model to their peers, fill in the form below and send it, with a letter supporting the nomination, to the address at the bottom.
Nominations without supporting letters will not be considered.
