‘How The Beatles Got Me A Job With ELO’ is the title of a top musician’s show coming to West Pinchbeck next Friday (October 10).
Dave Scott-Morgan has a vast background in music, including playing guitar for Jeff Lynne’s band from 1981 to 1986.
He’s also performed with Magnum, The Uglys, Balls and the Tandy-Morgan Band with ELO keyboard player Richard Tandy.
Now he’s part of Morganisation, bringing the show to West Pinchbeck Village Hall.
A spokesman said: ” Dave Scott-Morgan former guitarist with the cosmic Birmingham band Electric Light Orchestra leads his creative collective Morganisation with original songs, rock ‘n’ roll classics and quintessential ELO hits.
“The musical style of the Beatles, Dylan and Buddy Holly feature in their live sets but the stars of the show are Dave’s original songs: humorous yet disciplined toe-tapping tales.
“Whether the format is acoustic or multi-media, the shows are laced with nostalgic anecdotes of Dave’s artistic influences, meeting musical legends or writing songs, including where appropriate, Q&A sessions.”
Tickets for the 6.30pm show are £13.50 if brought on the night or £10.50 when bought in advance from 07507 713817 or www.liveandlocal.org.uk or www.ticketsource.co.uk/west-pinchbeck-village-hall
