There was a break from league fixtures in the Pinchbeck and District Darts League this week with the first round of the Knockout Cup taking place.
Green Dragon A are through to the next round with a 6-3 away win at the Lincoln Arms D.
Taking a 3-0 lead after the pairs, wins for Kiaran Grove, Tom Overton and Chris Newman in the singles saw them safely through.
Overton had a 16-dart leg and Newman hit a 180 in his pairs game.
Services Club A secured their place in the second round with a 6-3 away win at Green Dragon C, wins for Steve Booden and Sarah O’Driscoll seeing them through.
Jamie Robson had a 180 and a 16-dart leg for Dragon.
Pinchbeck FC C are through with a 5-4 away win at Pied Calf.
Leam Dawson (180), Graham Amess and Greame Mathews gave them an unassailable 5-2 lead.
Consti Club C progress with a 6-3 away win at Pinchbeck FC B.
Trailing 2-1 after the pairs, Consti were too strong in the singles, winning all but one.
Connor Clift for the Pinchbeck side beating Josh Faulkner 2-0 in the final game.
Closest game of the round came at Lincoln Arms C against Consti Club B.
In a game that went one way, then another, it finally came down to the final leg of the match. Jay Fountain held his nerve to hit the winning double to give Lincoln a 5-4 victory.
Lincoln Arms A cruised through with an 8-1 away win at Consti Club Z.
The only success for the Consti was Dan Merrill who beat Harry Walsh 2-0 in the singles.
Jimmy Tennyson hit a 180 and Sam Roberts had a 110 checkout for an 18-dart leg for Lincoln.
Draymans Arms and Services Club B both go through with walkovers against Consti Club A and Kirton Leisure respectively.

Monday night saw the semi finals of Spalding Darts League’s divisional cups and in Division 1’s Supreme Cup, the final will be between first and second place with Tigers beating Draymans Arms A and Consti A beating Ye Olde Abbey.
Tigers beat Draymans 6-3, and started the match the better team by winning the first three pairs games and then won the first singles game, so found themselves 4-0 up.
Draymans however fought back and wins for Josh Higgins, Kev Newton and Phil Newton made it a much closer match at 4-3.
Duncan Hunt, with the help of a 124 checkout, and Monty Bunn won their games to take the match 6-3. Newton had a 180 in his win and Colin Hatter managed a fine 161 checkout.
Consti A had a fine 8-1 win against Abbey with their sole winner Craig Norbury who beat Jason Vines. Vines, however, was on fine finishing form and got a 114 checkout in the pairs and a 106 checkout in the singles.
Jack Chilvers fired in a 180 and Chris Fidler had a 14-dart leg and a 118 checkout along with seven scores of 100 or more in his 2-0 win against JJ Bird.
Lincoln Arms A played Rose and Crown in a rearranged league game with Lincoln coming out 7-2 winners.
Highlights were 180s for Dave Bourne and Harry Walsh and a 17-dart leg for Steve Stancer.
The Division 2 Dick Morgan Cup will be played between Pied Calf, who are looking to seal a league and cup double, and Consti D, who received a walkover.
Pied Calf beat Tigers B 5-4 and powered into a 3-0 win after the doubles, but young Leo Clarkson won his game for Tigers to stop the rot.
Jacob Herd, who has had a fine season, enhanced Pied’s lead to 4-1 but wins for Dave Henderson and Richard Brooks made it 4-3. Only needing one of the last two games Pied struck early and won the next game and the match thanks to a 2-1 win for Stu Page against Danny Goddard.
Steve Rawding and Arthur Porter hit maximums, and Page had a 100 checkout to seal victory.
Green Dragon B received a walkover in their semi final so will be in the Division 3 Kelly Foster Cup final.
In the other semi-final, there was a shock with league leaders Ship Long Sutton losing 5-4 to mid-table Riverside Hotel.
Riverside got the edge on the night by winning two of the three pairs games and then stretched their lead thanks to a win by Andy Taylor with a 111 checkout.
The Ship fought back and had wins for Jake Hinta-Penta and Tom Burton to make the game 3-3.
Jonny Pell then held his nerve for Riverside and beat Tom Semper which meant Riverside only needed one of the final two matches.
Riverside then won the match on the next available game with Tracey Baldwin beating Brad Martin 2-0 to take them to the final.
