LETTERS – Policing needs extending

I refer to the article in the Voice on June 26th regarding the Neighbourhood Policing Team and how they are doing well on the streets of Spalding every day.

It’s a pity this doesn’t extend further afield to include the Castle Complex field where drugs are openly being taken as well as in the rear bushes alongside the school.

The police team should also be patrolling during the evening and early hours where the parties and very loud music are continuing, despite this being reported to the police and council over recent years.

Anti-social behaviour doesn’t just occur in the easy pickings of the town centre or surrounding streets during the day.

Reporting these incidents to the police 101 whilst ASB activities are happening proves a waste of time.
Neighbourhood Policing should be day and night.
