No joy for Pulling at Spa date

It was a disappointing weekend for Gosberton race ace Abbi Pulling in Belgium.
The Rodin Motorsport driver struggled in the GB3 Championship at Spa-Francorchamps, falling further and further off the pace in the three races.
“It was another tough weekend. I’m really disappointed to be honest,” said the 22-year-old driver.
“Frustrated doesn’t even cover it. I struggled with the car; it felt like I was fighting it every lap. I was gutted with how it played out.
“I’ve been struggling a bit since Silverstone; struggling with the handling. There’s just some things I need to figure out.”
Pulling finished 16th in the first race, nine seconds behind the winner, and 17th of the 23 cars in the second race, almost 23 seconds adrift.
She was 17th again in Sunday’s third race but trailled the winner by more than one minute 21 seconds.
Pulling remains determined to show the form that has earned her so much success so far and said: “I’ll keep pushing and keep trying to improve and get some better results next time out.”
