People are being given the chance to have their say on what should be included as part of a new community facility.
The latest phase of new homes at Wygate Park, Spalding, has released some funding for a community facility on land next to the new school.
Between now and May 9, the local community is being consulted to find out what the actual needs of residents are and what type of facility would best meet these identified needs.
As an impartial and independent registered charity, Community Lincs will be organising this important community consultation and providing a report analysing feedback, summarising findings and making recommendations.
If you live in the Wygate Park area, a questionnaire will be delivered to your home for you to give your views and thoughts about issues such as:
how a new community facility could meet your needs
what facilities you think should be available
what activities you think should take place in/on a new facility
whether or not you could offer any time and/or expertise to support a new community facility.
Residents are being asked to take the time to complete the survey either online or in writing on the questionnaire provided. Instructions are shown at the top of the survey form.
Households completing and returning the survey will be automatically entered for a free prize draw for a cash prize of £50.
Anyone who has not received a survey questionnaire and who would like to make their views known in relation to this consultation, can do so by sending comments to [email protected] or by post to Roy Pell, Community Lincs, The Old Mart, Church Lane, Sleaford, Lincolnshire NG34 7DF.
The findings from this consultation activity and the winner of the prize draw will be publicised later in the year.
