Nice and three-sy for Harrox in Pinchbeck derby

Pinchbeck United 1
Moulton Harrox 3

Moulton Harrox continued their red hot form with a 3-1 win at rivals Pinchbeck United on Tuesday night.

Macauley Grimwood fired Moulton ahead in the ChromaSport Peterborough Premier Division clash, but a Mark Thompson penalty just before the break hauled Ian Dunn’s side level.

That’s how it stayed up until the final 15 minutes, when Harrox’s Joe Townsend headed home from close range.

Sub Ben Allen had a few chances to put the game to bed for the visitors, before Andy Law brilliantly smashed the clincher past Tom Roberts in the final minute.

The win keeps Moulton third in the table, just four points behind second-placed Coates Athletic. Pinchbeck remain eighth in the standings.
