Awards for care workers

Two care workers from Spalding were honoured at the Lincolnshire Care awards 2024 recently.

Joanne Allgood and Adeyinka Awoseye both work for Libertas Care Services in the town. Joanne won the Community Care award while her colleague Adeyinka was presented with the Rising Star award.
Broadcaster and presenter Melvyn Prior hosted the awards ceremony, which was organised by the Lincolnshire Care Association (LinCA), at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln.
Melanie Weatherley chair of LinCA, said: “Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all our winners and highly commendeds, and to everyone who was nominated for an award.
“The Lincolnshire Care Awards are the highlight of our calendar because they give us a chance to celebrate the amazing individuals who work in our care sector in Lincolnshire.”

Adeyinka Awoseye is presented the Rising Star Award which was presented by Sean Knight, assistant principal for apprenticeships and pathway at Lincoln College.
