Easter fun at Springfields

You can get an extra taste of spring this weekend at Springfields.

The Spring Flower and Garden Show is back for 2025 from 1.30pm to 5pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
It includes an exhibition by the Spalding Arts and Crafts Society and all works on display will be available for sale.
A spokesman for the society said: “We will also have a raffle for a painting by local artist Phil Biggs as shown on a poster.
“As well as our artwork there will be a display of daffodils in the annual competition organised by Springfields Horticultural Society who are kindly giving us space to exhibit at their show.
“Entry is free and is in a marquee in the Festival Gardens.”
As part of this floral extravaganza, the Springfields Horticultural Society (SHS) will showcase their Plant Heritage National Plant Collection, The Springfields Narcissus Collection, alongside stunning displays by local talented horticulturists including Taylors Bulbs.
Green thumbs are invited to put their gardening skills to the test with the Annual Daffodil and Spring Flower Competition – open to all from budding beginners through to seasoned experts. Entry details and forms at www.springfieldsfestivalgardens.org.uk
Springfields’ Easter Egg Trail with Cadbury Outlet has also begun and runs to Monday, April 21.
For £6, each child can explore the beautiful gardens and solve fun and educational questions connected with the local nature. A Cadbury Outlet Chocolate Egg and a seed to grow at home are included in the event along with a fun activity pack.
The trail must be pre-booked online, with tickets available on Springfields’ website www.springfieldsoutlet.co.uk/easter
