Lincoln Arms A took another step to retaining their Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck & District Winter Darts League Division A title with a 7-2 win at Drayman’s Arms B.
Phil Newton was the only singles winner for Drayman’s, beating Steve Gaughan 2-1.
For the Lincoln, Paul Blow and Jimmy Tenno had a 14-dart leg in their pairs game and Steve Stancer and John Charlton both had 18-dart legs in their singles victories.
With Consti Club C having their bye week, Services Club B took second place with a 6-3 home win against Pinchbeck FC A. Wins were recorded by Steve Rawding, Jonny Pell and Tony Clark in the last three singles to secure victory. Clark and Ben Chester both registered 180s.
Consti Club B suffered an 8-1 loss at home to Lincoln Arms D. Stacey Banister again starred for Lincoln with a 17-dart leg. Graham French hit a 180 for Consti.
Green Dragon A won 6-3 at home to Royal Mail Cart. Sean Trafford threw a 180 in his singles but it could not prevent him losing 2-0 to Stef Atudosiei.
The top two teams met in Division B and it was leaders Consti Club Z who came out on top with a narrow 5-4 win against Green Dragon Z.
Singles wins for Adam Clark and Callum Day in the last two singles for Dragon made the score line close. Finn Mottram had a 15-dart leg for Dragon and Rob Green a 109 check-out for Consti.
Playing two games in one night, Kirton Leisure came out victorious in both against Consti Club A with 5-4 and 7-2 victories. Mark Ledger had a 100 finish for Leisure.
Consti Club D had a 6-3 home win over Drayman’s Arms A with Nick Collins and Dean Drage winning the last two singles to complete things. Sandy Sandison hit a 180 for Drayman’s in his 2-1 singles loss to Collins.
Lincoln Arms C won 6-3 at home to Services Club A. Nigel Goodwin and Jay Fountain won the game for the Lincoln in the last two singles. In a close game it was Pinchbeck FC B who came out 5-4 victors at home to bottom team Green Dragon C. Tom Elderkin had a 16-dart leg for Pinchbeck.
