Pyramid new leaders at top of the table

It’s all change in the Spalding and District Billiards League as Bourne SC drop to fourth.

Last week, the team announced they were withdrawing from the league but have since agreed to carry on and see out the season.
Theirs was one of three matches which resulted in a 7-0 dubbing this week.
They lost to Holbeach A, with Phil Coaten (r90), Mick Cooper (o200) and Ben Harding (r10) getting the wins.#
Cooper knocked in breaks of 45, 41, 33, 32 (twice) and 25 in his win over Tony Curry (r60), while Harding pocketed a 44 break, beating Ian Clare (r50).
Holbeach now sit in third place.
Top of the league are Pyramid A who beat Consti B 7-0.
Their winners were John Clapton (r100), Reegan Cooke-Holmes (r80) and John Twell (r70).
Consti’s Mick Johnson (o120) had breaks of 29, 26 and 20 but couldn’t see his way to a win.
Lowly Consti A, who are sitting firmly at the bottom of the table, lost 7-0 to Donington.
They’ve only won one match so far this season.
Getting the points for Donington were Nigel Brasier (r70), Tony Scully (r40) and Ben Wrigglesworth (r10).
Second placed Holbeach B got the better of Gosberton, beating them 5-2.
Marcus Pell (o40) won the first frame for Gosberton before Andy Spearman (r80) and Neil Harvey (r50) hit back for Holbeach taking the match.
Results: Holbeach B 5 Gosberton 2, Consti A 0 Donington 7, Pyramid A 7 Consti B 0, Bourne SC 0 Holbeach A 7.
