Whaplode Drove Rovers inflicted more pain on the Magpies, who remain remain rooted to the foot of the table after a 4-0 defeat. Ryan Ellwood opened the scoring before Danny Firth helped himself to a brace of goals either side of Connor Stevenson notching.
The three points keeps Whaplode Drove on course to challenge for runners-up spot. Stamford Bels’ 18-point lead at the top would appear unassailable at this stage.
Sutton could still get themselves out of trouble. Six points cover the bottom five sides, although all four teams above Sutton have matches in hand.
Tydd Reserves put up a good fight at high-flying Bourne Town Reserves in Division Two. They were holding their own at 0-0 until half time but two Alfie Woodward goals sent them home empty-handed.

Sutton Bridge sit mid-table but with matches in hand over several of the teams above them. A good run of results could still see them challenge for runners-up spot.
