Round Table joins Give A Gift appeal

Spalding Round Table is onboard and will be supporting this year’s Give a Gift appeal.

Spalding Santa’s sleigh is now being operated by the Spalding Round Table, along with Club 41 and Ladies’ Circle.
Their involvement with Gift a Gift means that Santa, Rudolph and their helpers will bring holiday cheer to thousands of families in the district, while also collecting gifts along each of Santa’s 17 mobile routes, and at multiple static locations.
Mark Le Sage, partner inGive a Gift, said: “It’s brilliant that Spalding Round Table has offered these additional collections. I’m hoping this will be the largest collection to date.”
Matt Clark, of Spalding Round Table, said: “We’re incredibly driven to make a difference with the Santa sleigh this year and to brighten as many lives as possible.”
We’ll be delighted if you decide to support the appeal but ask you please not to gift wrap your present – they need to be assessed to ensure children receive suitable toys.
We respectfully ask that the gifts are in new or ‘as new’ condition and we are unable to accept cuddly toys, make-up, toiletries or food and perishable items due to health and safety.
Give A Gift helps ensure less fortunate children aged between three and 14-years-old have a gift to open on Christmas Day.
All presents will go to South Holland and Boston Child Services to distribute in time for Christmas.
Collection points are: Sainsbury’s, Nat West, Calthrops Solicitors, Courtyard Footcare, Health and Beauty and The Noshery, Springfields Garden Centre, all in Spalding, Frydays Fish and Chip Shop, Crowland, Vine House Farm, Deeping St Nicholas and Baytree at Weston (Santa’s Grotto booking office).
