Creasey hits top form at Snetterton

Spalding’s Morgan Creasey showcased his racing prowess at Snetterton circuit with podium finishes across multiple classes.
Fierce competition and personal best lap times saw him solidify his status as a formidable contender in the Clubman 1000 and Thunderbike Ultra categories.
Creasey was second on the Clubman 1000 grid, clocking a personal best lap time of 1:57.615. He followed up with a strong qualifying performance in the Thunderbike Ultras, landing third position.
In the first Clubman 1000 race, Creasey took off with a powerful start, leading the pack for the initial lap. As the race progressed, he found himself in a thrilling three-way battle for the lead, holding strong to finish first in class with a personal best of 1:56.901.
The second Clubman 1000 race mirrored his competitive spirit of the first, finishing first in class and second overall, further improving his time to 1:56.124.
The Thunderbike Ultra races proved equally exhilarating. Starting from third in both races, Creasey demonstrated his skill by leading into the early corners. Despite battling against two fierce competitors, he secured third place in each race, with a personal best lap time of 1:57.224 in the second event.
In the first Clubman 1000 race of the second day, he faced an unexpected challenge when a wide turn on to the grass caused him to lose crucial positions. He recovered to finish second in class and fourth overall, setting yet another personal best at 1:55.731. The final Clubman 1000 race saw him first in class and third on the track, despite battling worn tyres.
The Thunderbike Ultra races posed more challenges. Starting third, Creasey led the first race until an unexpected cut-out left him questioning his chances. In a moment of determination, he turned the bike off and back on, regaining his momentum to finish third.
In the closing race of the weekend, Creasey had to use the wet bike, which still had a wet set-up, bringing it home safely in third position.
His sights are now set on the final round of the season at Brands Hatch on September 21 and 22.
