Signs bid for new ‘Petalo Lounge’ at Springfields

Plans have been submitted for new restaurant signs at the former Frankie and Benny’s site at Springfields.

Petalo Lounge is run by the same company as King’s Lynn’s Poco Lounge and Argo Lounge in Peterborough.
The application relates to external signs at the Springfields site.
Parent company Loungers says its ‘informal cafe bars’ are open all day every day, serving a wide range of food and drinks.
The company also donates 50p from the sale of every burger and 20p from every coffee sold at new sites to local charity.

“It’s a great area and we are hopeful to join the local community by opening a Lounge and creating between 30-40 new jobs,” a spokesman for Loungers said. “Nothing is totally confirmed yet, however, for every Lounge we open, it’s important to us that we give back to the community – we partner with local charities to raise funds, our spaces are used for meetings of local groups and businesses, and we encourage customers to use us as a community hub.”

“We hope to have more info on the site in Spalding, soon.”
