Hall among those opening its doors

Members of the public can get rare look inside an historic school this September.

Welland Hall, formerly Spalding High School and now Ayscgouhfee Hall School, is opening its doors to the public on Sunday, September 15 as part of the Heritage Open Days initiative.
A spokesman for Ayscoughfee said: “We are welcoming visitors to witness the changes that have occurred since its establishment in 1920 as a school.
“Whether you have a connection to Spalding High School when it was situated at Welland Hall, are a past pupil of Ayscoughfee Hall School or are interested in discovering the story of Boris, the school’s friendly ghost, then please come and visit us during the event.”
Guided tours will be available from 11am to 1pm.
