Can you help community larder?

Holbeach Community Larder is looking for new trustees and volunteers to help it carry out its vital service.

The group helps provide support for those dealing with food poverty in the town and surrounding villages.
Its board has three vacancies and is particularly looking for people who have digital skills including managing websites and social media, anyone with book-keeping or accounting experience and people who have previously been a trustee of a charity or experience working in the community.
The larder is also keen to hear from anyone just interested in learning about the roles and being a part of a dynamic team.
Expressions of interest detailing why you think you would make a good trustee should be forwarded by 9pm on Monday September 9 to ja*************@bt********.com and should be headed ‘Trustee Vacancies’.
The food bank itself is open for anyone struggling with food poverty every Wednesday, 10am to 1pm and Friday, 12pm to 1pm.
Anyone interested in being a volunteer can contact Jane Francis on 07909 682351.
The larder has collection points at Holbeach in Tesco’s, Co-Op, QD Stores, Littlebury Medical Centre, Royals Gym and All Saints’ Church.
There are also collections at Fleet Road Vets, Whaplode Co-Op, Moulton Village Store, Moulton Medical Centre and Gedney Hill Village Hall on Monday and Thursdays between 9.30am and 10.30am.
