Brand shines with three-second win

Beautiful weather greeted Spalding Cycling Club for their latest time trial evening with all the right conditions for a fast night.

It was tighter than it has been all year with Frazer Wallis agonisingly close to Dominic Brand with only three seconds separating the top two. Brand took the win with a time of 21 minutes 13 seconds.
It was also a great night for Matt Chappell, reclaiming his third spot by setting a personal best time of 21:52, edging Chris Ward back to fourth.
Other PBs came from Brian Daniels, who has been chipping away at his time all season, finishing joint 11th, and ladies’ winner Evgeniya Brand in 24:50.
