Tasty festival set for tenth serving

Organisers promise ‘street food galore’ as Holbeach Food Festival celebrates ten vyears on Sunday, September 1.

Carter’s Park will be free to enter and packed with delicious treats and entertainment for all ages.
The wide range of food available will include authentic Mexican, Caribbean, Indian, Spanish paella, loaded fries, artisan burgers, a hog roast, Lincolnshire hot dogs, shawarma wraps, falafels, pizzas and much more.
Sweet-toothed visitors will enjoy ice cream, milkshakes, waffles, donuts, crepes, handmade chocolate, plus a huge selection of cakes and bakes.
A retail area (with over 60 stalls) will feature award-winning food and drinks to take home, plus crafts, gifts and attractions.
You’ll also be able to relax in the Summer Beer Garden with vocalist Helen Verney’s ‘music through the decades’.
The fully licensed bar from Holbeach Mobile Bars will be stocked with a selection of beers, ciders, sprits and soft drinks.
The ever-popular Holbeach Town Band will also be performing.
Young visitors can enjoy cookie decorating with Cookstars South Lincs (providers of local cooking classes and workshops for children), plus mini electric bikes, bouncy castles and facepainting.
Royals Gym present their annual search for ‘Lincolnshire’s Strongest’ athletes in a range of gruelling strength challenges, cheered on by the crowds.
Look out for ‘Bush Tucker Trials’ hosted by South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone, who will be promoting their national hub for collaboration, education and innovation in Agri-Tech & Food Manufacturing.
