Meet and greet for author

A Spalding man who has written a book on autism and ADHD following his family’s experiences of the conditions, says he’s delighted with the reception it’s been getting ahead of a meet and greet event.
James Wand self-published Autism and ADHD – A Family’s Perspective to put his experiences in the public domain, especially with his 13-year-old daughter Mia and nine-year-old son George.
In recent weeks he’s met with Janet Corcoran MBE, who pioneered aspects of teaching with autism, worked with Gordon Forsyth, the chair of Parents and Autistic Children Together and Lincs Autistic Society, as well as MP Sir John Hayes.
He’s also been on podcasts and is presenting to local schools and the Little Miracles charity.
He would also like to meet others so is offering a meet and greet event at Spalding Library on Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 12pm.
James said: “It’s an opportunity to meet and chat to others in similar positions and anyone else who wants to.”
