Sowing the seeds for riverside

A group of volunteers have sown more seeds In the bid to get Spalding’s riverside looking blooming marvellous this summer.

As part of South Holland District Council’s Spalding Reconnected project, the East Mercia Rivers Trust organised for volunteers to create what are planned to be three new wildflower areas along the river bank on Saturday April 22.
A spokesman said: “Wildflowers add diversity, benefit pollinators, and other invertebrates, and add little pockets of colour for everyone to enjoy.”
