Charity’s roarsome new pal

A dinosaur was seen running amok in Holbeach last week.

It was, in fact, the new mascot of South Holland charity Tonic Health.
A spokesman for the charity said: “Due to them being from a very different area, they were very unsure of what Holbeach has to offer so we showed them the town centre.
“Our new staff member has been brought on board to highlight the Holbeach Hub and make the community aware of both the adult and youth groups held there.
“We had an amazing time introducing our new dinosaur to Holbeach and it was great to get the response we did – car drivers were beeping their horns and waving, people were taking selfies with the dino, and many said it was lovely to see people smiling and having a bit of fun.”
The group also gave one lucky winner a slow cooker and a £50 Tesco voucher.
Following the introduction of its new mascot, the Holbeach Hub will be asking people for suggestions of really roarsome names for the dinosaur and are also offering a prize for the winning name.
