Children at St Paul’s Primary School in Spalding enjoyed a taste of India for a day.
Key Stage Two pupils enjoyed everything from dancing to art as part of the event.
The children experienced Indian art and created rangoli patterns using coloured chalk.
They dressed in traditional Indian clothing and were participating in Indian folk and Bollywood- style dancing
Some children also had an insight into Hindu worship where they learned about some of the many gods of the religion, with an introduction to its ceremonies and beliefs.
The Year Six children had an overview of Indian lifestyles and culture and challenging stereotypes.
A spokesman for the school said: “The day was planned to enrich our Religious Education curriculum, to give the children hands on experiences.
“We had a fantastic day.”
