Nigel’s top four in world games

Spalding snooker player Nigel Brasier helped to make history as he finished in the top four of the World Ability Games in Thailand.

For the first time disabled people were allowed to enter and Nigel who has MND, was shocked to be chosen to represent the UK.
He flew to Asia in early December.
There he won three matches to reach the last four.
In the semi-final he lost out to a British opponent before missing out to a local opponent in the bronze medal match.
“It was an amazing experience,” Nigel said. “A very proud moment when we walked into the arena for the opening ceremony.
“We were treated like Snooker stars for a week. It was an absolute honour to be part of History.”
