Show neighbours Care with a Call

A charity run by a local councillor is urging Spalding Voice readers to check-in on their elderly neighbours this Christmas.

District councillor Mark Le Sage runs Ella’s Project which is named after his daughter.
It has a host of initiatives and helped with the Give a Gift initiative alongside The Voice, which has once again been a huge success.
His festive community offering is not done yet though as he’s urging everyone in the district to take part in Care with a Call.
“It doesn’t take long to make a difference and make those that may feel lonely or alone realise that they’re cared for, and people are thinking about them,” Mark said.
“The weather is changing and it is getting colder. We would like to encourage you all to check in on your elderly and vulnerable friends, family or neighbours just to make sure they’re OK and able to keep warm and safe.”
