Three points separate three teams at top of Division Two

Just three points separate the trio at the top of Division Two in the Spalding and District Snooker League.

A 4-2 win for Donington A allowed them to capitalise as leaders Pyramid A took their first loss of the season 4-2 away to Whittlesey C and second-placed Consti B went down 5-1 to Services D.
Donington A’s win came thanks to John George (scr), Nigel Brasier (O21) and Tony Scully (O35), while Neil Burton (O14), Garry Thewliss (scr) and Jason Bloomfield (O21) got the points to give Whittlesey the victory over Pyramid.
Consti B’s first loss of the season came as Joely Shears (R7), Kevin Robbs (R14), Ian Smith (scr) and Russell Morse (scr) took the frames for Services D.
Holbeach A remain in fourth. They beat Gosberton A, Wayne Dent (O49), Mathew Smith (O35) and Stuart Atkin (O42) with the wins.
Adam Twigg (O14) and Alan Jackson (O7) got the consolation points for Gosberton.
Dent knocked in breaks of 32, 31 and 30 on his way to victory over Carl Ward (O7).
Down at the bottom of the table Gosberton D got their second win of the season, beating Pyramid B 4-2.
Wins came from Keith Lungley (scr) (twice) and James Parrott (R7).
Pyramid D dropped a place to sixth after losing 4-2 away to Holbeach B.
Reegan Cooke-Holmes (O14) got Pyramid off the mark, beating Pete Mullane (O28), before Charlie Mullane (R21) equalled the score winning on a re-spotted black.
Neil Harvey (O14) and Barry Haynes (O7) took the following two frames for Holbeach sealing the win, before Pete Sharpe-Grose (R7) won the final frame for Pyramid.
Donington B beat Consti F 4-2 thanks to wins from brothers Pete (scr) and Phil Burrell (scr) and Darren Templeman (scr).
Father and son Martyn (R21) and Justyn Stanley (scr) took the final two frames for Consti.
Services C are still at the top of Division One after a 4-2 victory over Holbeach D.
Geoff Hemsil (R28), Shane Cummins (O14) and Nigel Cherry (O7) got the points for Services, with Wayne Forbelets (O21) and Paul Daw (O21) getting the points for Holbeach.
Bourne SC A are in second place thanks to a 5-1 win over local rivals Pyramid C.
A 27 break from Jason Green (O56) helped him secure a win over Michael Byrne (R14) but it wasn’t enough as the rest of the team lost their frames.
Pyramid C did win a rearranged game against Holbeach E though, emerging 4-2 winners.
Spencer Dawkins (O56) knocked in a 57 break during his match against Stuart Sullivan (O35).
Green also got a 41 and a 22 in that match, beating Chris Back (O56) 83-34.
Holbeach C have moved up a place to fourth with a 5-1 win at home to Donington C.
Mark Gregory (O42) was the only loser, beaten by Mick Pearl (O21) but he redeemed himself later in the evening with a convincing 69-28 win over Neil Reynolds (O56).
Dan (O7) and Paul Ashton (R14) and Nick Edwards (R7) got the other wins.
At the foot of the table Sutton Bridge lost again, this time to Consti H 4-2.
The luck wasn’t on Bridge’s side with Glenn Ryan (O28) and Shane Balding (O56) both losing black ball games.
Jon Houldershaw (R7), Mark German (O28) and Adam Mayman (O21) got the wins for Consti.
Consti G went down 4-2 to Services A, leaving them second from bottom.
Vince Fitter (O35) kicked the match off with a win for Services, before Ady Sibley (O28) got a frame back for Consti.
Chris Dunmore (O35) beat Darren Woodberry (O49) to take the third frame, Consti then equalised through Martin Deacon (O7) before Joe Garland (scr) took on Martin Spencer (O21) in the final frame, with Spencer winning on a re-spotted black.
Bourne SC B, who are near the bottom of the table, got a much-needed 4-2 win over Holbeach E.
Chloe Payne (O14), Joey Scampion (R7) and Pete Smith (R7) got the wins in that one.
Holbeach F are nine points clear at the top of Division Three. They beat Gosberton C, who now drop to third place, 5-1.
James Elliott (O7) took the first frame for Gosberton but it went downhill for them from then on with David Lefley (R28), Dan Mayfield (O28), Susan Lefley (R28) and Alex Bourne (O21) winning the next four frames.
Consti I have moved into second with a 4-2 win away at lowly Donington D.
Donington sit at the foot of the table with just one win under their belt so far this season.
John Bellerby (R7), David Twelves (scr) and Pete Stokes (R7) got the frames for Consti, while Michella George (R28) and Dan Sawdey were the winners for Donington.
Whittlesey A moved up a place into sixth thanks to a 4-2 win over Consti J.
