Make this month Rocktober

A Spalding woman has persuaded one of her favourite acts to play at The South Holland Centre to raise funds for palliative care in the town.

Emma Peake has organised for The Eddie Seales Band to bring their rock ‘n’ roll, soul and Motown magic to the venue on Friday, October 27 to raise funds for The Tulip Suite at Johnson Hospital.
It provided such fantastic care for Emma’s mum Kate that for the last five years she has been supporting them.
The event later this month is entitled Rocktober 2023.
“They’re very, very good,” said Emma who has run Dasies in The Crescent for over 20 years. “They’re excellent musicians and put on such a good show.
“It’s going to be around two hours of amazing music and all for a great cause.
“The Tulip Suite was absolutely amazing for my mum and ever since I’ve been trying to give something back.”
As well as the gig, every attendee will also receive a free goodie bag.
Tickets cost £25 and are available from www.south
