School children are Walking Tall

Pupils from schools across South Holland have been rewarded for their determination and perseverance thanks to Spalding Lions.

Every year during the last week of school term, members of Spalding Lions Club make presentations in local primary schools.
The prize, a certificate and a gift token, is awarded, as chosen by their teacher/head of school, to recognise determination and perseverance of a pupil in their last school year.
A spokesman for Spalding Lions said: “A big thank you goes out to all the schools who took part in the Walk Tall Awards scheme this year.”
Schools involved were Cowbit St Mary’s Primary, Monkshouse Primary, Spalding, Spalding Primary Academy, Gosberton Academy, Moulton Chapel Primary, St Bartholomew’s CE Primary, West Pinchbeck, Clough & Risegate Community Primary, Gosberton and St Norbert’s Catholic Primary, Spalding.
