Gedney Hill’s big total for charity

The 2023 St Barnabas Charity Day was held at Gedney Hill Golf Club.
The day was hosted by organiser, Terry Grantham who, at the age of 92, has organised this event for the past 14 years.
There were 33 golfers who took part and an amazing amount of £1,380 was raised for the St Barnabas Hospice.
The results were: Men’s Competition – 1st Eric Cowles 44pts, 2nd Phil Ecuyer 43, 3rd Wally Lawes 42, 4th Keith Lawrence 41, 5th Bryan Johnson 40, 6th Rob Newns 40.
Ladies’ Competition – 1st Christine Lord 34 (acb), 2nd Amanda Cook 34.
Visitors’ Prize – Robin Johnson 41pts.
