Two further juveniles have been charged with the murder of Spalding man Warren Free (pictured), bringing the total to five.
The two boys will appear before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday) and are then expected to appear at Lincoln Crown Court this afternoon.
Lincolnshire Police said: “Of the seven juveniles arrested in connection with Warren Free’s death, three have already been charged with murder, one boy remains on bail, and the remaining juvenile will have no further police action taken against him.”
Senior Investigating Officer, DCI Martin Holvey, said: “Five individuals have now been charged but an active investigation into Mr Free’s murder continues. Even at this stage, the public may have some detail which could be very important to the enquiry and I reiterate my previous appeals to anyone with information, however insignificant it may seem, to contact the investigation team.”
Mr Free was found unconscious and with head wounds at his home in Coronation Close on August 28. He died the following day in hospital.
Anyone with information can police on 101, quoting incident 161 of 28th August, or in complete anonymity, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
