LETTERS – A good idea to keep the aviary going

Having read the article regarding the aviary at Ayscoughfee Gardens, I personally feel that as long as the birds are all monitored and thoroughly cared for, it is a good idea to keep the aviary going.
It is a joy to see the birds and they are an asset to the gardens.
I have often noticed small children fascinated by the birds and so as long as their welfare is top priority, I cannot see a reason to alter the status quo.
