May I, through your letters page, thank the good samaritans who helped me last Tuesday afternoon.
As a nine-year brainstem stroke survivor I was returning from a medical visit at my local surgery, when I tripped and fell heavily onto my knees.
The camber on the footpath in West Elloe Road caused me to roll into the roadway just as a bus was approaching.
The bus driver stopped his bus ensuring no traffic could pass and came to my rescue along with a lady in the following car.
I wish to send my grateful thanks to these two people, who lifted me back onto my feet and onto the pavement.
I was in shock and forgot to ask their names.
Thank you so much.
