LETTERS – Dr Sykes should be honoured

Thank you to Harold Payne (letters January 19) for highlighting the retirement of GP Dr Andrew Sykes from Littlebury Surgery.

It is a shame that no more has been mentioned on his complete retirement by local media.

I am sure (I know) that all the older generation will sadly miss him.

I believe that Dr Sykes should be honoured for all his years of dedication to all his patients in the general Holbeach area – he certainly deserves a medal.

Thank you Dr Sykes for the last 26 years of looking after my family.

Best wishes to you.

Ps. Maybe Sir John Hayes would be interested in helping out with an award process?
