Appeal after knifepoint mugging in Long Sutton

Police have appealed for information after reports of a knifepoint mugging in Long Sutton.

The incident happened on Bridge Road near Spotless Cars Wash at 9.40am on Wednesday, April 23.

“The male suspect was reportedly holding a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet,” a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said. “He was described as having a slim build, is around 5ft 11ins tall and was wearing a grey hoodie with a white shirt underneath, grey tracksuit bottoms and a black balaclava at the time of the incident.

“The male suspect was believed to have walked off down Bridge Road into Long Sutton.

We are appealing for any information that can assist with our investigation. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have relevant CCTV or RING doorbell footage of a man matching the description walking by after 9.40pm on Wednesday.”
