Tulips get ready to hit the road

Spalding United were left waiting to get back to winning ways after their scheduled Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division game with Shepshed Dynamo was called off on Saturday due to a water-logged pitch.
So the Tulips turn to a quickfire double bill of trips to Northamptonshire.
First up on Saturday Spalding are at Corby Town before visiting Daventry Town on Tuesday evening.
After losing for the first time this season they’ll be looking to get back to winning ways against Corby who sit seventh in the division just outside the play-off places.
It’s swiftly followed by a visit to second-from-bottom Daventry in midweek.
Despite being without a game, the Tulips remain third in the division, with previous leaders Stamford having been held to a 1-1 draw at home to Dereham last Saturday.
They’ve been overtaken by Halesowen who moved top thanks to a 3-0 win at home to Gresley.
It all means Spalding are three points behind both teams but also have two games in hand.
Meanwhile Josh Moreman has announced he’s leaving The Tulips.
The former member of Spalding’s junior section posted on Twitter it was his decision to leave after finding playing time limited in the last few weeks.
He’d joined in the off-season from Kettering.
