Rotary boost for our Give a Gift appeal

This year’s Give A Gift appeal has been given a boost thanks to the Rotary Club of South Holland.

The Rotary Club made a £150 donation to the appeal, allowing us to buy a trolley full of toys.

Although the appeal has now officially closed, the gifts at Sainsbury’s collection point won’t be picked up until Monday, so there are still a few days left for you to pop in a gift.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our readers yet again this year and can’t thank you enough for your support.

Launched by Coun Harry Drury, the appeal makes a huge difference to struggling families across South Holland and Boston, ensuring less fortunate children aged between three and 14-years-old who wouldn’t get a present, have something to open on Christmas Day.

This year we have teamed up with Mark Le Sage, founder of Ella’s Project, to make the appeal even bigger and better.

Through Mark’s partnership with Lord’s Collectables, we have been able to accept monetary donations for the first time.

All presents will go to South Holland and Boston Child Services to distribute in time for Christmas.
