Care home’s coffee offer to blue light emergency workers

A Holbeach care home is offering free coffee to emergency workers.

The Blue Light Coffee Stop has been set up at Holbeach Meadows on Daisy Road which itself only opened in August.

Home manager Debbie Holman says staff from blue light services can call in for a coffee whenever they pass by, day or night.

“We all highly value the work of our amazing emergency services and hope our Coffee Stop will go some way in making their busy days a little easier,” she said. “We encourage blue light workers to call in anytime and pledge to make sure there is always a hot drink available for them.

“My team and I will always be here for our emergency services.”
