Joseph is school’s first show in years

Rehearsals are well underway for the first big production at Spalding Grammar School for a number of years.

Students have been busy perfecting their lines as well as preparing scenery, lighting and costumes for their performances of Joseph on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 6, 7 and 8.

Primary schools will be invited to attend a free matinee performance the day before the show opens to the public.

A spokesman for the school said: “The students are all working really hard.

“This is the school’s first production in years, so it’s set to be a big one.

“There is also a guest star playing the role of Pharaoh – to be revealed shortly. But here’s a clue – it’s a member of staff.”

Tickets can be bought from the school office. They cost £5 for adults, £3 for children aged under 16 and £4 for over 60s.
