LETTERS – No idea about cost of living crisis

I would hazard a guess that every person on the Tory front bench in Parliament is a millionaire, at least.

This is the very nub of our present “cost of living crisis” – they do not, in any form, understand the phrase.

Large bank accounts, nice safe investments, second homes, and their best friend, expense account.

The phrase has no meaning anywhere in their realm of understanding, it would be like asking a man in the street to explain quantum physics.

The proof, if needed, whilst the country is tottering on the edge of this disaster, and its coming towards us like a avalanche, they are on holiday.

I have mentioned before that I am very old, I have, been, seen, and done more than most in my life.

One thing that is causing me great worry is a reoccurring event that I have noticed over the years, long warm summers are usually followed by long harsh winters and in our present state we are heading for a disaster.

Cold kills, old, young, poor, rough sleepers, but who cares? Not the aforementioned front bench or the two leadership contenders, fighting like rats in a sack, in front of the world’s media.
