Mark and Keith seal impressive success in Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s Stableford Pairs competition

Mark Boughen and Keith Crowson stormed to a three-point win at Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s Stableford Pairs event.

The duo raced to a score of 46 points in the men’s section competition, which was more than enough to take top spot.

JamIe Stott and Rod Drew were second, pipping third-placed Gino Ciuffini and Ady Bills and fourth-placed Darrell Pacey and Andy Betts on countback after all scored 43 points.

Seniors’ section: Results: Medford Competition: Division One – 1st Graeme Barritte 31-23=8; 2nd Michael Flint 33-20=13; 3rd Tom Ainsley 35-20=15 (ocb).

Division Two – 1st John Forbes 34-21=13; 2nd Derek Marsh 32-19=13; 3rd Brian Newby 29-16=13 (ocb).

Division Three – 1st Malcolm Miller 35-23=12; 2nd Stephen Horton 32-19=13; 3rd Steve Skoulding 32-16=16.

Division Four – 1st Barrie Mutimer 33-17=16; 2nd Dave Mirow 39-20=19 (ocb); 3rd Alec Harding 35-16=19 (ocb).
