Bradbury’s treble is timely lift for Moulton Harrox

A hat-trick from Ian Bradbury fired ten-man Moulton Harrox to a morale-boosting 5-3 victory at Langtoft United in ChromaSport Peterborough League Premier Division on Saturday.

Ashley Coddington and sub Macauley Grimwood also netted for Moulton, who had Ben Allen sent off at Manor Way.

Having suffered a surprise 3-0 loss to Oakham United the previous week, the victory propels Paul Kent’s side up to sixth in the table.

That’s one place and two points behind Pinchbeck United, who also got back to winning ways with a 2-0 home success against Uppingham Town.
Callum Lawe and Louis Saebe fired the goals for Ian Dunn’s side.

At the wrong end of the table, Corban Oldham’s double earned Crowland Town only their fourth point of the season as they drew 2-2 with ICA Sports at Snowden Field.

In Division One, Long Sutton Athletic earned an exciting 3-2 victory at Netherton United Reserves thanks to goals from Tim Lowe (2) and Mark Garner.

Sutton Bridge United also bagged three goals on the road, but they were held 3-3 at Baston. Ben Partridge (2) and Ben English earned Bridge a point.

There was a high-scoring game at Broad Lane too, as Moulton Harrox Reserves saw off Whittlesey Blue Star 4-3.

Meanwhile, Spalding United Reserves cruised to a 4-1 home win over Pinchbeck United Reserves in Division Two – despite seeing Ash Elderkin sent off.

Jamie Cartlidge (2), Jake Farrell and Dawid Kantak notched for the Tulips at the Sir Halley, with Liam Dawson hitting back for Pinchbeck.

In Division Three, Matt Eaton fired four to steer leaders Tydd St Mary to a 7-2 win at Coates Athletic B. Stuart Easey, James Dack and Nick Reims were the others on target for the free-scoring Saints.

Ryan Wheeler and Tomasz Rabiega both hit doubles to steer Spalding Town to a 5-3 success at Riverside Res. Ben Holland was their other scorer.

Down in Division Four, Jamie Forman and Lewis Machin netted for Holbeach Bank, but it couldn’t stop Oundle Town Reserves winning 4-2.

Long Sutton Athletic Reserves were also beaten 2-1 by Stanground Sports, despite James Wright finding the net.

In Division Five, Alec Wilkinson and Jake Hinton-Penta earned Tydd St Mary Res a 2-2 draw with Netherton B.
