Pub steps up to the oche

Darts players were on target with their fundraising efforts at a Spalding pub last week.

The Lincoln Arms in Bridge Street put on a ‘crazy blind pairs’ competition in aid of the local Macmillan organisation.

There was also a raffle and auction leading to a final total of £1,200.

The competition was sponsored by Steve Smith who kindly donated £100 for the winning pair of John Charlton and

Steve Mosedale, but they generously donated the prize to the final total.

Mandy Stancer, who runs the Lincoln Arms with husband Steve, said: “We had lots of lovely prizes donated by our customers who all gave generously in total with raffle and auction. We would just like to thank everyone who gave generously and helped on the day to make it so successful for such a great charity.”
